I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to wear for the New Year’s Eve party I went to; it was a tie between looking like trash or looking super chic. I went with a juxtaposition of both. Back in April I DIY-ed a sweater but I didn’t like its end result. This time I altered it, fit it better to my body, and improved the boat neck. The back is where the action is at. My black skinnies were already fading so I decided to bleach-splatter them (I know, it looks like vomit or other bodily fluids… but I honestly don’t care because I like it). Wore my favorite brogues, a skinny tie, and popped a collar like Lagerfeld. So, top half chic, bottom half trashy. Front chic, back trashy. It all worked out.
